M/I Homes: Social Media Initiative

Objective: Boost social media presence for M/I Homes. How could we be more present outside of daily posts?

Outcome 1: I trained the design team on animation basics in After Effects. As a team, we were able to create themed animated gifs. The gifs were used on instagram stories by New Home Consultants, customers, and everyday social media users. This initiative catapulted views on the M/I Homes GIPHY account to 15+ million.

Outcome 2: M/I Homes began hosting quarterly Facebook Live Events. The spring edition, “Gardening with M/I Homes”, was hosted at a North Carolina model home, featuring gardening tips, brand insights, and real-time Q&A.
